Petitioners herein seeks quashing of FIR No. 65/2021 dated 12.02.2021, registered at P.S. Jait Pur, for commission of offences under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. Petitioner No.1 got married to respondent No.2 on 18.01.2020, as per Hindu rites and customs. 3. Respondent No.2 lodged a complaint with the police, which resulted in registration of abovesaid FIR. 5.
