All these petitions, being connected, are taken up together. 2. The issue raised in all these petitions is short and precise. 3. Petitioners herein, along with one Ms. Manorma Dixit, are facing trial for offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881. There are six separate complaints, albeit, the parties are same, though the cheques are different. 4. When these six complaints were taken up by the learned Trial Court on 13th instant, there was request from the side of petitioners for adjournment and the counsel representing the petitioners before the learned Trial Court Signature Not Verified CRL.M.C. 1555/2026 & 1 Digitally Signed other connected matters By:DINESH CHANDRA Signing Date:25.02.2026 18:07:08 had requested the Court to give a date as she had been recently engaged in the matter and was, therefore, not fully prepared for conducting the cross-examination. Such request was declined and, simultaneously, right of accused No.1 and 2 (petitioners herein) to cross-examine CW-1 was closed. 5. Such orders are under challenge. 6.
