The prosecution story briefly stated is that there is an old enmity between the parties. Sri Betal Singh, cousin of P.W.-1, Atar Singh, was murdered by Somraj, accused, Mahavir and others in which the pairavi of that case was done by P.W.-1, Atar Singh and they were convicted. Uncle of P.W.-1, Atar Singh, was also injured by the same accused and the pairavi of injured was done by P.W.1, Atar Singh.
