The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950, assailing the impugned order dated 16th September, 2025, passed by the learned trial court in CS (COMM) No. 336/2024, whereby the further cross-examination of the PW-1 (AR of the respondent/plaintiff), to be conducted by the petitioner, has been closed. 3. Heard. Record perused. 4. Learned Counsel for the respondent submits that he has no objections if the petitioner is granted one more opportunity to cross-examine the PW-1, provided the same is conducted expeditiously, so as to avoid any further delay in proceedings of the case. Keeping in view the submissions made by learned Counsel for the parties, the petitioner is granted one more opportunity to cross-examine the PW-1. It shall be open to the learned trial court to permit the cross-examination of the PW-1 on the date already fixed, i.e., 27th February, 2026, or on any other date as may be convenient to the learned trial court. 6.
