The present petition seeks quashing of FIR No. 0421/2022 registered at Police Station Dayal Pur for commission of offences under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, along with all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom. 2. The marriage between the petitioner No.1 and respondent No.2 was solemnized in 1997 as per Muslim rites and customs. 3. They were blessed with five children. 4. However, on account of some temperamental differences, respondent No.2 approached police which resulted in registration of abovesaid FIR. The charge-sheet has already been filed and therein, offences under Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 were also added. 6. However, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and, in terms of the settlement which took place on 07.08.2025, both the parties have started residing together and all other cases, filed in relation to the abovesaid marriage, have already been withdrawn by the respective parties. 7. Respondent No.2 is present in Court and she has been duly identified by her counsel as well as I.O. She reiterates the terms of settlement and submits that she is living in complete peace and harmony with her husband and in-laws and would have no objection
