Petitioners contend on their prayer for quashing order dated 14th January, 2026 made by respondent no. 2 (the competent authority) in refusing to mutate their names in the record. Furthermore, their possession in the land is being threatened. Mr. Raghav Dwivedi, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioners. On earlier occasion he had submitted, there was order made under section 8(3) in Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Act, 1976. They filed objection. In spite thereof there was subsequent order dated 29th August, 1991 made under section 8(4). Appeal was preferred, which came to be abated on order dated 25th November, 1999. There was no compensation ever given nor possession taken and hence the suit.
