The petitioner by means of present writ petition has prayed for the following relief:- "to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.02/regional passport officer to decide the application of renewal of the passport of the petitioner dated 05.03.2026 which is being under review on the ground that police verification report is not clear, within a time bound period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice." 3. The petitioner has applied for renewal of passport.
