The instant petition has been preferred seeking direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 28.08.2018, passed by the respondent no.3 in Case No.D201712602436, whereby the petitioner's arms license was rejected. The appeal preferred against the aforesaid order was also dismissed vide order dated 03.11.2025 by the respondent no.2. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that respondent no. 3, namely the District Magistrate, Aligarh, by means of the impugned order dated 28.08.2025, has cancelled the petitioner's arms licence solely on the ground of his alleged involvement in Case Crime No. 326 of 2017, under Sections 147, 148, 307, 352, 386, 388, 427, 323, 504 and 506 of the IPC, Police Station Pachokhara, District Firozabad.
