By way of present writ petition, the petitioners have assailed the order dated 18.02.2026, by way of which the Assistant Registrar, on the basis of an application dated 08.08.2025 in pursuance of which proceedings were initiated under Proviso to Section 4(1) of the Act, 1860; has passed an order for setting aside the elections conducted under Section 25(2) of the Act, 1860, holding that the elections held on 18.06.2015, after the completion of the term as provided in the by-laws to be 5 years,
