Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh, learned Standing Counsel representing State-respondents Nos. 1 to 4, and perused the record on Board. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Deputy Director of Education (Secondary Education), Division, Ist Mandal Meerut (respondent No. 3), in not deciding the claim of the present petitioner for pensionary benefits on the basis of the last pay drawn, despite repeated representations. The petitioner is further aggrieved by the illegal fixation of his pension at Rs. 51,250/- by respondent No. 3, vide order dated 26.05.2020, on the basis of the post of teacher, instead of on the basis of the last pay drawn by him as Ad-Hoc/Officiating Principal. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner was appointed on 29.01.1980 to the post of Lecturer (English). During the course of his service, he was handed over the char
