By means of filing the present writ petition, 20 petitioners have approached this Court with the prayer to direct the respondent authorities to ensure that the petitioners may not be given additional charge of Block Level Officer (BLO) and a further prayer to direct the respondent authorities to ensure that the petitioners may not be deployed for non- teaching duties like revision of Electoral College of Legislation Assembly (Revision of Voter List,)." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that under Section 27 of Right of Children of Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, no teacher shall be appointed for any non-educational purposes as well as against the guidelines.
