By means of the present writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari, quashing the order dated 16.07.2007 as contained in Annexure-1 to this writ petition, with further prayer to issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the opposite parties to continue to pay one additional annual increment to the petitioners which was being paid to them and also not to recover any amount already paid to the petitioners in pursuance to the order dated 16.07.2007. 3.
