By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to return the whole amount deducted from terminal benefits of her Late husband alongwith interest at the rate of 18% per annum. 3. Factual matrix of the case is that the petitioner's late husband Sri D.P. Singh joined as Probationary Clerk in State Bank of India, Sahaswan Branch, District Badaun in September, 1978. He was then promoted to scale of MMGS-II. Petitioner's son Amit Pratap Singh availed two loans amounting to Rs.10,00,000/- (term loan) and Rs.15,00,000/-
