Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No. 762/2022 dated 19.12.2022, registered at Police Station Uttam Nagar for commission of offences under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. The marriage between complainant (respondent No.2 herein) and petitioner No.1 was solemnized on 12.12.2018, as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. 3. On account of matrimonial discord, a complaint was lodged by respondent No.2, which resulted into registration of the abovesaid FIR. However, when charge-sheet was filed, Section 354C IPC was also added as there was allegation of voyeurism attributable to devar i.e. petitioner No. 4. 5. Respondent No. 2 had, on the last date of hearing, submitted that matter had been amicably settled and she would have no objection to the quashing of FIR. However, Court had requested her to appear in person so as to be fully assured and certain about the fact that she has entered into settlement, voluntarily.
