Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No. 558/2024 dated 30.12.2024, registered at Police Station Budh Vihar, Delhi, for commission of offences under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. Petitioner No. 1 got married to respondent No. 2 on 11.06.2023 according to Hindu rites and ceremonies. There is no child from such wedlock. 3. Fact, however, remains that in relation to one Maintenance Petition, when the parties were referred to Counselling Cell, Family Courts, North-West, Rohini, Delhi, they were able to resolve all their disputes before the Counsellor attached with Family Courts, North-West, Rohini, Delhi. 5. Respondent No. 2 is present in person along with her mother and counsel. Investigating officer is also present. She has been duly identified by her counsel and investigating officer. 6. As per terms of settlement, respondent no. 2 is ready to accept a total sum of Rs. 5 lacs
