Heard learned counsel for the parties at length and perused the record. 2. The petition arises out of a suit for permanent prohibitory injunction filed by the petitioner no.2 since deceased represented by his legal heirs. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially an ex parte order of status quo was passed on 1.10.2005, which remained operative for a period of 17 years and, on 7.12.2018, another order was passed indicating that there was no need to expeditiously decide injunction application and parties were directed to co-operate with the trial which was at the stage of evidence. 4. Submission is that on 12.5.2017, an application 144-C filed by the plaintiff was allowed and the initial order dated 1.10.2005 directing the parties to maintain status quo was kept operative till disposal of the injuncti
