The instant appeal has been preferred against the judgment and award dated 21.10.2016 passed by the Railway Claims Tribunal, Lucknow Bench, Lucknow (hereinafter referred to as the 'Tribunal') in Case No.O.A.0700577, whereby compensation of Rs.4,00,000/- along with simple interest at the rate of 6% has been awarded in favour of the claimants-respondents. 3.
