The instant appeal has been preferred under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988 against the judgment and award dated 03.11.2015 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/ Additional District Judge, Court No.6, Barabanki in M.A.C.P. No.0000384 of 2014, whereby compensation of Rs.3,71,000/- along with interest has been awarded in favour of the claimants-respondents. 2. Brief facts of the case is that on 31.03.2014 at about 2:00 PM, near Safdarganj crossing on the Lucknow–Faizabad road, a Bolero car bearing registration No. UP 45 G 0109, owned by the appellant, was being driven in a rash and negligent manner. While doing so he dashed into cyclist.
