No. 105/1998 on the file of the Court of Special Judge, Delhi, challenging the conviction entered and the sentence passed against them for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and 13(1)(d) of the PC Act and Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (the IPC). 2. The prosecution case is that on or around 10.05.1995, the accused persons, three in number, while being employed in the Railway Protection Force (RPF), entered into a criminal conspiracy to extract illegal gratification from PW5 and, in furtherance thereof, demanded a sum of ₹10,000/- for not implicating PW3, his brother-in-law, in a criminal case.
