The instant writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, assailing the order of the Commissioner, Varanasi Division, Varanasi, in Case No.1716 of 2025 Computerized Case No.C202514000001716 (Prem Kumar Maurya vs. State of UP), under Section 6 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, whereby the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the order of the Additional Police Commissioner, Varanasi, in Case No.33 of 2025 (State vs. Prem Maurya), under Section 3(1) of the above Act, 1970 has been dismissed and consequently, the order whereby the petitioner was externed for a period of two months has been affirmed. 2.
