A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 4 where the stand, broadly taken, is that the parties have compromised the dispute which has given rise to the impugned FIR and subsequent proceedings. 2. This writ petition was initially filed challenging the First Information Report dated 15.11.2025, giving rise to Case Crime No. 1216 of 2025 under Sections 318(2), 338, 336(3), 340(2) BNS, Police Station- Indrapuram, District- Ghaziabad. Later on, pending this writ petition, a charge-sheet dated 09.01.2026 was filed whereon cognizance was taken by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghaziabad on 03.02.2026 giving rise to Case No. 1425 of 2026. The charge-sheet and the order of cognizance, passed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, have subsequently been challenged through an amendment application, which was granted by this Court.
