Heard Sri Sunil Vashisth and Sri Vijay Kumar, learned counsel for the applicant; Sri Ashish Tyagi, learned counsel for the informant and learned A.G.A for the State-opposite party. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in this case, F.I.R was lodged at 08:56 p.m when the incident took place at 01:00 p.m. The inquest proceedings commenced from 02:00 p.m and concluded at 03:20 p.m. The F.I.R is delayed when the distance of police station from the place of incident was only 300 meters. In the statement of the informant recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C., he has stated that he took his injured father to the police station and asked the police to get his medical examination conducted and took him to the Government Hospital where he was declared dead. However, in his cross-examination before the court, he has admitted that he went to the police station for the first time
