Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is a private person and as such the proceedings under the Prevention of Corruption Act would not lie against the applicant. The allegation against the applicant is that as per direction of co-accused Rs.10,000/- was given by the complainant to the applicant, as a result of the same, the applicant is being proceeded with under Section 7/12 of Prevention of Corruption Act. The applicant is being proceeded for abetment of the offence under Prevention of Corruption Act.
