The accused-applicant seeks bail in Case Crime No.1149 of 2025 under Section 318(4), 338, 336 (3), 3(5), 340(2) BNS and Section 66D IT Act, Police Station Kotwali, District Barabanki. In the prosecution case, it is alleged that the main accused, Deepak Tiwari, is involved in online betting activities and earns money by referring others to the said betting platforms. It is further alleged that the main accused, along with the co-accused persons, is also involved in other offences such as publishing false advertisements for providing jobs, pornography, digital arrest fraud, etc., and that by engaging in such illegal activities, the co- accused Deepak Tiwari and other accused persons used to receive money in their respective bank accounts.
