Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State and perused the record. The present bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant with the prayer to release him on bail during trial in F.I.R./Case Crime No. 76 of 2026, under sections 8/18/21 N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station- Thakurganj, District- Lucknow. As per prosecution version, the contraband substance, i.e. 310 gm of heroin and 135 gm of opium is said to be recovered from the possession of the co-accused. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the present case due to ulterior motive.
