The instant bail application has been filed with a prayer to release the applicant on bail in Case Crime No.45 of 2026 under Sections 3/5A/8 U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, P.S. Walterganj, District Basti. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present case. He is not named in the FIR. The FIR has been lodged against unknown persons. Later-on, on 03.03.2026, Bablu Sharma, Istekhar Ahmad and Chhotu @ Tufail were arrested by the police and in their confessional statements, the name of the applicant figured. The applicant was thereafter arrested on 05.03.2026 and no recovery was effected from the possession or on the pointing out of the applicant.
