The present bail application under Section 483 BNSS has been filed with a prayer to enlarge the applicant on bail in Case Crime No. 436 of 2025, under Sections 108, 85 BNS, Police Station Atarra, District Banda during the pendency of trial. 3. Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the husband of the deceased and has been falsely implicated in the present case. The incident is alleged to have occurred on 24.08.2025, whereas the first information report was lodged on 03.12.2025. The inordinate delay in lodging the first information report is fatal to the prosecution case. Initially, the first information report was lodged under Sections 103(1), 61(2) BNS.
