Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the present application is the second bail application moved on behalf of the applicant. It is pointed out that the earlier bail application had been allowed by this Court on 23.04.2024. However, during trial proceedings on 26.05.2025, the applicant/accused could not appear before the learned court below due to certain personal difficulties. In view thereof, a hazri-maafi application was preferred on his behalf through his counsel seeking exemption from personal appearance, but the same came to be rejected by the learned court below, which consequently proceeded to issue a non-bailable warrant against the applicant/accused.
