The instant bail application has been filed with a prayer to release the applicant on bail during the trial in Case Crime No.395 of 2025, under Sections 8, 20 of NDPS Act, Police Station Kotwali Shamli, District Shamli. 3. Contention of learned counsel for the applicant is that the applicant is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in the present case. He further submitted that the applicant has been implicated on the basis of recovery of 137 gms. of 'Charas' (contraband), which is below commercial quantity and the same was kept by the applicant for his personal use.
