The present anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of BNSS has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to release him on anticipatory bail in Case Crime No. 576 of 2008, under Sections 420, 467, 471, 477A, 120B IPC, P.S.- Kotwali Nagar, District- Muzaffarnagar, during pendency of the trial. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for the applicant that the matter is of the year 2008 wherein the department of Vigilance has lodged the FIR against anonymous persons. The accused applicant was Junior Engineer, who retired in the year 2012. The investigation is continuing since the year 2008. The role attributed to the accused applicant is giving subsidized connection of electricity for running tube well in the village, over and above the limits provided. Investigation
