The present anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of BNSS has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to release him on anticipatory bail in Case Crime No. 40 of 2026, under Sections 3/25 Arms Act, P.S.- Chandwak, District- Jaunpur, during pendency of the trial. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for the applicant that the FIR has been lodged by the police on 19.02.2026 with the allegation that the accused applicant has posted his photo on social media app 'X' showing the country made pistol in his hand. It is further submitted that the accused applicant has no criminal history. Applicant is student. His social media handle was hacked and the fake picture was uploaded.
