The present anticipatory application has been moved by the applicant for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 470, 471, 477A, 120-B of IPC in Case Crime No.576 of 2008, Police Station- Kotwali Nagar, District Muzaffar Nagar. 3. It is contended by the learned counsel for the applicant that the accused-applicant is a retired Sub-Divisional Officer of electricity department. In the year 2008, the F.I.R. has been lodged against the accused-applicant and other persons with the allegation that the applicant has given the subsidized electricity connection to the farmers for running of tube well over and above the sanctioned connections.
