The present anticipatory application has been moved by the applicant for the offence punishable under Sections 3/5A/8 Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and 11 Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act in Case Crime No.96 of 2026, Police Station- Chandauli, District Chandauli. 3. It is contended by the learned counsel for the applicant that the police on 11.03.2026 has lodged the F.I.R. against the vehicle owned by the applicant, which was carrying the cattle. The offence invoked is the prevention of Cow Slaughter Act and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. The applicant being the owner, is not aware about the vehicle, being plied for the purpose of transporting the cattle. The arrest and recovery of the vehicle is in absence of the independent witness.
