The present application has been moved seeking anticipatory bail in Case Crime No.0304 of 2024 under Section 420 I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali, District Shahjahanpur with the prayer that in the event of arrest, applicant may be released on bail. 3.Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that the applicant is not named in the F.I.R., and his name surfaced in the confessional statement of the co-accused. He further submits that so far as applicant is concerned, no charge sheet has been filed against him and that investigation is still going on. Learned counsel for the applicant has further aruged that the applicant is innocent and he has an apprehension that he may be arrested in the above-mentioned case, whereas there is no credible evidence against him.
