The present application has been filed seeking anticipatory bail in case crime/FIR No. 1101 of 2007, under Sections 420,467,468,120-B I.P.C. & Section 13(1)D read with Section 13(2) Prevention of Corruption Act, P.S.- Kotwali Nagar, District- Balrampur. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the case. He further submits that the FIR has been lodged on 20.12.2007 for the incident which is said to have occurred in the year 2004. In the statement of S.P. Singh, the then Assistant Commissioner, Balrampur, he stated that for 3704.04 metric ton coal imported, earnest money had already been deposited by the committee.
