The present Criminal Appeal under Section 14-A(1) of the Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 has been preferred for quashing the summoning order dated 17.01.2025 passed by the Special Judge, S.C./S.T. (Prevention of Atrocities Act), Kannauj in Complaint Case No. 32 of 2017 (Ramautar Dhanuk vs. Baseem Thekedar & Ors.), whereby the trial court has summoned the accused under Section 302 IPC and Section 3(2)(5) of the S.C./S.T. Act for trial. 3. Learned counsel for the appellants submitted that earlier an FIR was registered through an application under Section 156(3) Cr.P.
