The present 528 B.N.S.S. application has been filed to quash the summoning order dated 6.8.2025 passed by Judicial Magistrate Kaushambi in Complaint Case No. 696 of 2024, (Sarita Devi Vs. Sandeep and others), Under Sections 85 and 115(2) B.N.S. (498-A, 323 I.P.C.) and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Kokhraj, District Kaushambi, pending before the court of Judicial Magistrate Kaushambi. 3. It is alleged in the complaint that marriage of applicant was solemnized with opposite party no. 2 in the year, 2001, thereafter, applicant and other family members demanded dowry and when the demand was not fulfilled, they started to torture the opposite party no.2 mentally and physically, then the opposite party no. 2 left the house of the applicant and lodged present complaint. 4
