This appeal under Section 374 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1974 (the Cr.P.C.) has been filed on behalf of the sole accused in Sessions Case No. 24/2014 on the file of the Additional Sessions Judge, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi, assailing the judgment dated 17.03.2016 and order on sentence dated 05.04.2016 as per which he has been convicted for the offence punishable under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (the IPC). 2.
