Heard Sri Firdaus Ahmad, learned Advocate holding brief of Sri Kanhaiya Lal Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for registration on GEM portal maintained by the respondents for the continuous discharge of duties by the petitioners since 2021. He has placed reliance upon the Government Order dated 18.05.2020 in this regard. Learned Standing Counsel on the contrary submits that GEM portal registration is dependent on various factors and not merely upon continuance of a contract employee. More especially when the outsource service provider agency is being engaged. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case especially the fact that petitioner is discharging duties on a contract basis, continuously since 2021, I think it appropriate to dispose of this petit
