Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus to command the respondents to make payment of GPF amount along with interest which according to the petitioner should be @ 18%. Per contra it is argued by learned counsel for the Principal Accountant General, U.P., Prayagraj as well as Ratan Deep Mishra, learned Standing Counsel that initially the amount was calculated as Rs. 5,77,269/- towards the GPF with additional interest of Rs. 45,027/- till March 2019 and thus, the total amount calculated was Rs. 6,22,296/- which was directed to be paid under the order of Principal Accountant General dated 27.03.2025. It is contended that 90% of the amount was to paid on 22.05.2025 and for remaining 10% the amount was paid along with interest on
