By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order dated 6th March, 2024 and 13th January, 2025 by which their claim for counting previous service rendered in Army towards service in Police Department has come to be rejected on the ground that Government Order dated 23.12.2020 has done away with this benefit. It is argued that just for petitioner being sent in the second batch of training as police constable during pandemic Covid-19 that petitioner has been denied benefit, whereas, the batch of constables selected in same selection sent for training earlier has been benefited.
