Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent concerned to offer him compassionate appointment on account of his father dying in harness on 28th April, 2016 while working with the respondent establishment. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the application moved for compassionate appointment within time, no decision has been taken in the matter by the concerned respondent No.- 2. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection in the event respondent No.- 2 is directed to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner in a time bound period. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 2 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 28th August,
