By means of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order dated 25.08.2025 passed by Settlement Officer Consolidation, Kushinagar. Learned Standing Counsel has raised a preliminary objection as to the maintainability of the writ petition on the ground that petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy of statutory appeal under the Uttar Pradesh Government Servant (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the above legal position. In view of the above, while I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage, I dispose of this petition with a direction that in the event petitioner prefers a departmental appeal before the competent appellate auth
