By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no. 4 to make payment of gratuity alongwith interest . Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has retired on 31.7.2024 but payment of gratuity has yet not been paid. He further submits that no criminal antecedent is pending to the credit of the petitioner. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has not objection in the event direction is issued to the competent authority to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner in a time bound period provided petitioners moves fresh representation. In view of aforesaid, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the petitioner to move fresh representation before the concerned competent authority, namely respondent no. 4 within a period of four weeks from today
