Petitioner is seeking compassionate appointment for his father dying in harness on 31st August, 2020 while working with respondent establishment. It is submitted that petitioner has already furnished reply to the query being made regarding requisite documents to be supplied to the respondent for the purposes of compassionate appointment vide application dated 13th August, 2025 but no decision has been taken in the matter. It is contended by learned Standing Counsel that respondent No.- 3 is the competent authority in the matter and he does not have any objection in the event respondent No.- 3 is directed to decide the pending application of the petitioner.
