Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. Sri Ved Mani Tiwari, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 has raised a preliminary objection as to the maintainability of this petition on the ground that petitioner is claiming renewal of her dependent's card for her husband being in service with the respondent and who is currently posted at Port Blair. It is submitted that the respondent No.- 4 is renewing authority and petitioner being dependent of her husband, namely Pankaj Kumar, who is posted at Port Blair, this Court may not have territorial jurisdiction to entertain this petition. Upon a pointed query being made, Sri Rajiv Ashthana, learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute that petitioner, who is claiming renewal of dependent's card for being dependent of Pankaj Kumar, who is currently posted at Port Blair and the renewing authority is also at Port Blair.
