By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to command respondent no. 3 to decide pending application of the petitioner on 16.11.2023 seeking compassionate appointment for her husband dying-in- harness on 8th July, 2020 while working as Safaikarmi in Panchayat Raj Department, Bareilly. It is contended that after moving application on 16.11.2023, petitioner subsequently also moved application on 7.7.2025, 8.8.2025 by way of reminder, but no decision has been taken in the matter till date.
