By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus to command respondents to consider application for grant of disability pension in the light of the Government Order dated 15.06.2022. 3. Sri P.K. Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel for the State raises a preliminary objection as to the maintainability of this petition after a lapse of more than two decades on the ground that the Government Order dated 15.06.2022 WRIA No. 14282 of 2025 2 has not been given any retrospective effective. He further submits that the petitioner is not covered under the aforesaid Government order but he is not averse to the representation of the petitioner being decided in accordance with law. 4.
