Heard Sri Deepak Kumar Pal, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri Rahul Malviya, learned Standing Counsel representing State respondents. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus to command respondents to provide him duty as a PRD volunteer at Banda. Sri Rahul Malviya, learned Standing Counsel submits that now the registration has been done upon the software prepared for the purposes of allotment of duty and the delay is caused only for that reason. Once the names are uploaded, the volunteers shall be allotted official duty. He submits that petitioner may approach the District Level Committee headed by the District Magistrate in this regard by making a representation, who may consider the same and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law.
