By means of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order dated 07.03.2021, whereby his claim for compassionate appointment has been rejected on the ground that he does not have the requisite height of 152 Cm. 3. Upon perusal of the order impugned I find that the height of the petitioner was measured as 148 Cm as against the required height of 152 Cm. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has also received instructions in the matter as per which petitioner's height was duly measured and, since petitioner's height was found to be not as prescribed under the Government Order, he could not be offered appointment. 5.
